Please be conscious of personal boundries! It's of utmost importance for the Dance Home community to help folks find uninhibited self-expression while honoring personal boundaries. Although Dance Home is a barefoot boogie, flat-soled shoes with soft material are permitted for folks with foot problems.

The Big Room, where the dances are held, has a sprung wood floor and radiant heating. The Skylight Room, across the hall, has a wool carpet.

What's it all about?
Across this vast nation of ours there lives a community of dancing fools that like to have parties in smoke-and alcohol-free settings. Here are the ingredients: a group of barefoot people, a good-sized room with cozy floor, soft lighting, a DJ, some well-chosen tunes, and an agreement that everyone is safe to respond to the music as he or she wishes, without judgement, free to dance alone, or to interact... The DJ's that create the vibe for these singular gatherings play a wide mix of music that could be described as funky, melodic, tribal, groovy, urban, flowing, instrumental, lyrical, serious, profound, insightful, carefree, joyous, liberating, cathartic and much, much more. In short they provide the ingredients for a very tasty good time!Dance Home welcomes everyone from all walks of life to celebrate their existence to the fullest through dance and music.
